Everything runs directly in your browser. No account required, no data sent to any server — your habits are stored privately on your own device.

HabitQuest ("we", "our", "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a user. HabitQuest is a browser-based application available at realhabittracker.com.
Locally Stored Data: All habit data, XP, streaks, profiles, and settings are stored exclusively in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to our servers.
Automatically Collected Data: Like most websites, our hosting provider may collect standard web server logs including IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited. This is used solely for security and operational purposes.
HabitQuest itself does not use tracking cookies. However, we use Google AdSense to display advertisements, which may place cookies on your device to show relevant ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ad Settings.

We use the following third-party services to power the app. These are loaded via CDN and may log request metadata per their own privacy policies: Chart.js (charting), Canvas Confetti (animations), and Tabler Icons (icon fonts). No personal data is shared with these services.
HabitQuest is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us immediately.
Since all your data is stored locally on your device, you are in full control. We recommend regularly exporting your data using the built-in backup feature. We do not have access to your habit data.
You can delete all your data at any time by clearing your browser's localStorage or using your browser's "Clear Site Data" option. Since no data is stored on our servers, there is no additional deletion process needed.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of HabitQuest after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
